Match Report
Christ's Hospital 1st XV vs  The King's School, Canterbury
On: Saturday, 24 Nov 2018
Venue: at Home

Probably the best performance of the season with conditions in the air and under foot quite difficult. King's were a well drilled team and tested the CH defence throughout. It was very pleasing to see some of the things worked on in the recent training sessions come off in the match. The front row were excellent with Duke Ansah finishing off a very good team try with a prop's 50m (aka as 10m) run to score in the corner. Lucas Bartlett continues to develop into a very good player and strong carrying from the other forwards meant King's had to do a lot of defending too. In the backs not quite the fluidity of Tuesday but Matthew Attalah again showed how quick he is not only off the mark but also over distance. James North contributed well coming off the bench making a try saving tackle one minute then following up a powerful break by Lennox Anyanwu the next to score the final try for CH.
